Benjamin Winkler (he/they) was born in Philadelphia and raised in south Jersey. He has a Bachelors from Temple University, double-majoring in Political Science and Spanish. He holds a Masters of Science in Public Policy from Drexel University, where his thesis centered on state and local responses to immigration. Previous employment includes as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm, and as an after-school arts teacher in an Out of School Time program. When he is relaxing, you can find Benjamin trying new recipes in the kitchen and volunteering with the South Philadelphia Community Fridge. He lives in Center City with his wife, Victoria, and their cat, Silva.
