Brianna Andrews
Manager of Survivors of Torture Program
Brianna provides case management, information, and referral and support services for survivors of torture. Before joining NSC as staff, Brianna was an intern for the INSPIRE program. Her passion for working with refugees and immigrants started when she did humanitarian aid work at a refugee camp in Lesvos, Greece.
She has volunteered as an ESL teacher’s assistant in Northeast Philadelphia, interned with a non-profit that focuses on empowering women and girls in urban communities, and interned with an organization working with the child welfare system in Philadelphia. Brianna received her Bachelor of Social Work degree in May 2019. She strongly believes in the importance of working alongside refugees and immigrants as well as advocating for their rights, ensuring that they feel welcomed.
