Christina Kubica
Associate Director of Newcomer Services
Christina Kubica joined the refugee resettlement team as a case manager in 2016. Christina provides case management services to newly-arrived refugee clients in an effort to provide a supportive environment and positive transition to a new chapter of their lives. The courage, strength, and resilience of the refugee clients that Christina works with motivates her to do this work.
Prior to joining the NSC resettlement team, Christina worked in child welfare at Lutheran Children and Family Service and interned for the Philadelphia Partnership for Resilience at NSC. In addition, she also spent time studying service delivery and conducting service learning of vulnerable populations in Romania where she gained a better understanding of hardships and barriers facing individuals living in a growing social service structure.
Christina is a Licensed Social Worker and earned her Masters in Social Work with an emphasis on International Social Work from Rutgers University and holds a BA in Psychology from Temple University.
