Marzia Ebrahimi, currently serving as a Career Coach within NSC's Economic and Empowerment Department, brings a rich background to her role. Originally graduating from a Veterinary Medicine University in Afghanistan, Marzia also holds a diploma in Leadership. Her journey into the nonprofit sector began during her high school years in Herat, Afghanistan, where she started her first job with HELP, a German organization, as an art trainer and registrar. During her university years, Marzia started her internship with the Catholic Relief Services, a global US nonprofit organization, and was promoted as an officer. Following her graduation, she transitioned to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, broadening her experience and impact within the nonprofit sphere.
In her previous role in Afghanistan, Marzia dedicated herself to the Workforce Department, facilitating job opportunities for numerous women and aiding them in launching their careers. Her commitment to empowering individuals led her to NSC in March 2023, initially joining as a Driving Instructor before transitioning into her current role as a Career Coach.
Marzia finds fulfillment in assisting immigrants as they establish their lives in the U.S., guiding them toward fulfilling career paths for a promising future in their new home. Outside of her professional endeavors, she is pursuing art as a hobby and showcased her creations in various exhibitions across the U.S.
