Youth Wellness Case Manager
Rama started at NSC as a 1-1 ESL tutor with the YCRP as a volunteer in 2021. She helped clients have a simple conversation in English. In 2023, she officially joined the Health and Wellness Department as a Youth Wellness Case Manager after completing her internship. She is eager to help youth establish their lives in the United States. At Nationalities Service Center, she facilitates, manages, and monitors cases of youth between the ages of 14 to 24 years. Rama holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of the People and aims to start her master's in social work soon.
Prior to working at NSC, Rama worked as a Hybrid Quran Teacher for children at the Islamic Society of Greater Valley Forge. In addition, she worked at Asian American United as a Summer Teacher for 7 to 8-year-old kids. She enjoys reading, cooking, and walking in nature. Learning new languages is her new hobby. She speaks Arabic and is currently learning Spanish.
