Refugee Upskilling Initiative (RUI) Coordinator

Siobhan Leonard joined Nationalities Service Center in January 2023 as the Refugee Upskilling Initiative (RUI) Coordinator. Siobhan’s interest in the intersection of political and economic topics began while attending Pennsylvania State University as a Schreyer Scholar. Shortly thereafter, she went on to attend New York University’s MS in Global Affairs program, earning her degree with a specialization in International Political Economy. With a background in research, she has conducted qualitative and quantitative research on political and social movements in Latin America, Sub Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. Her professional experience spans both private and public sectors. As the RUI Coordinator, Siobhan seeks to strengthen local employer engagement by promoting inclusive growth.
